Tine Engineering was founded by Johan and Ruben – friends since their university days and united by a shared passion for structural engineering. After years of travelling the world and delivering solutions on some of the most complex industrial facilities, they saw an opportunity to create something different.
Built on friendship and a love for the craft, Tine combines global experience with local agility. With offices in Ireland and South Africa, we harness the minimal time difference and modern digital tools to run seamless virtual teams. This model lets us provide clients with world-class expertise, faster turnarounds, and cost-effective delivery – without compromise on quality.
The name “Tine” comes from the Irish word for fire – symbolizing our passion, energy, and relentless drive to engineer with purpose and precision. At its core, Tine is more than a company.
